Garden and Farm update

We have been getting green beans, green peppers and one red tomato and a red cherry tomato! The plants are starting to produce finally! I can't wait till we are starting to get lots of veggies at a time! At the end of July we are going to start planting for a fall garden!

This past week we went to the OKC zoo! They were having a special. Everyone under 11 were free so it was a very good deal! The monkeys were my favorite animal! One of the monkeys was showing off! It was pretty cute to watch!

It has been in the 100's lately, so we have been trying to keep cool! We have been swimming alot.

The turkeys are growing really big. One of the hens that we got is a rooster! It has been trying to crow. It is so funny to hear him!

Farm Life

I have been absent from the blog lately. We have been pretty busy.

On Thursday we got 10 turkeys. One of the turkeys somehow got out of the pen and got away so now we only have 9. They are 6 weeks old! The breeds are Bourbon Red and Blue Slate. We can't wait to have Thanksgiving dinner with home grown turkeys! YUMMY!!!

Our garden is growing, growing, growing! We have green tomatoes, peppers and cucmbers on the vine. Soon we will be having tomato and cucumber salad. Our corn is growing as well. Oh I almost forgot we also have green beans that we are going to pick next week.

Next week I am going to my sister Abigail's house. Since she is now pregnant she needs some help with her little boy James! I can't wait!!

Enjoying the Roses!

Here are a couple of pictures. We figured out our internet connection so I am only able to post two pics in each post.
